Description
Quick Overview |
Protect yourself with this battery operated VISION Z-Wave CO Sensor. One button tests all alarm functions as well as mutes unwanted alarms. This carbon monoxide sensor utilizes an electrochemical sensor for increased accuracy. Has easy access to the battery and a durable/lightweight design for optimal portability.
This sensor is a Z-Wave enabled device (interoperable, two-way RF mesh networking technology) and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave Plus enabled network and its security framework.
- Completely wireless
- Push-button: Test, inclusion and exclusion
- Loud 85db alarm
- Long battery life
- Electrochemical sensor, most accurate technology available for detecting carbon monoxide, compared to other common sensing technologies.
- Ease of use and installation
Product Details |
VISION Z-Wave CO Sensor a device that detects the presence of the carbon monoxide (CO) gas in order to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. CO is a colourless, tasteless and odourless compound produced by incomplete combustion of carbon containing materials. It is often referred to as the "silent killer" because it is virtually undetectable without using detection technology and most do not realise they are being poisoned. Elevated levels of CO can be dangerous to humans depending on the amount present and length of exposure. Smaller concentrations can be harmful over longer periods of time while increasing concentrations require diminishing exposure times to be harmful.
VISION Z-Wave CO Sensor is designed to measure CO levels over time and sound an alarm before dangerous levels of CO accumulate in an environment.
50 ppm for 60 minutes
100 ppm for 10 minutes
300 ppm for 3 minutes
When the sensor is triggered it can send binary ON/OFF commands wirelessly using a Z-Wave enabled (AUS/NZ version 921.42 MHz) transmitter to assigned controllers, switches, window winders etc. The sensor can be used to automatically turn on fans, turn wireless switches ON/OFF and for security applications within the Z-Wave network.
Integrates with Australian Z-Wave certified (921.42MHz) controllers including:
- Vera Edge
- Fibaro Home Center 2
- Fibaro Home Center Lite
- Homeseer
